Born on 1st April 1960 and named the 1460, this is the Original 8-eye boot that started it all—unmistakable from the first glance. Finished with yellow welt stitching, a scripted heel loop and our heat-sealed, air-cushioned sole, it’s been adopted by subcultures and redefined on stages worldwide. This version of the iconic silhouette is made with super-soft Virginia leather for out-of-the-box comfort and reworked in a dusty rose colorway with a narrower fit.

Virginia – a soft, fine-grain leather that is treated to feel smooth and supple, our Virginia Leather is typically dyed, and is offered in a variety of bright colors.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to the outside of your footwear to keep the leather supple

Goodyear Welted – the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
